Yes, our X431 PROSV carries 2 years free of updates.
After 2 years, if you don't renew the subscription, most functions are still available, and will not affect normal use.

I've just replaced my ecm in a 08 mercury mariner with pats system and now i need to relearn new keys to pats system. will this scanner work ?

Is there a way to connect the scan tool if Bluetooth has connectivity issues

Hello, thank you for your question.
Generally, after the registration is successfully complete, the wireless communication between the tablet and the VCI device is automatically established.
If you encountered the connectivity issue, please confirm:
1) The Bluetooth VCI is well plugged into the vehicle DLC.
2) Please fix the firmware to see if it helps. Here is the path: User Info>>>firmware fix.
If the issue is still there, please contact us at sales@launchx431.co.uk and offer us the following information.
1) The order number and the serial number of your scanner. The serial number can be found on the back of the unit.
2) Some pictures show the message on the display when you try to scan the vehicle.

This is a great product and leaves very little out when it comes to diagnosing your vehicle. This Scanner is really designed for the very serious mechanic. It is designed not only to scan your vehicle but also it provides you with a world of information via the internet that relates to the problems identified by the scanner. I’m a used car dealer and the LAUNCH X431 PROS V helps a lot! I just need to connect it with a car, and then I can see if there are any trouble codes. And whether a used car has problems or whether the problems are easy to settle. I recommend it to anyone.
